Healthy Easy Toddler Snacks

We all know that toddlers can be picky eaters, and it sucks. With that said, it’s important to have a few go-to snack ideas that don’t seem so…snack-y. While I have experimented with many healthy snack ideas for Bubba, I have only had about a 50% success rate. Below are 2 healthy snacks that are always a hit with my little man, plus, they are SUPER easy to make!

Healthy Ranch Dip

Ingredients

2-3 tbsp Greek yogurt
1/2 tsp garlic minced
pinch of salt
pinch of pepper
1/2 tsp parsley
1 tsp dill

Let’s Do This!

1. Mix all ingredients together in a baby-safe bowl, and serve with veggies, crackers, chicken tenders…sky’s the limit!

Parmesan Kale Chips

Ingredients

1/2 bunch kale
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Let’s Do This!

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees

2. Wash and tear kale into medium-size pieces (not too small!)

3. Place kale in a mixing bowl with oil, salt, and pepper, and massage leaves until nicely saturated with oil and seasoning

4. Arrange kale pieces on a cookie sheet (or jelly roll pan) lined with parchment paper — be sure the pieces do not touch

5. Sprinkle with cheese, and bake until edges are golden brown, but not burnt (6-10 mins)

6. Let chips cool, and enjoy!
